Assignment 3 (Proposal)
Mr Ong showed us videos of people using the makey makey as an music instruments. Initally, I had no idea of makey makey and began to do a research on the makey makey website. You can also play game with it too haha ;)
For the Assignment 3, we had to do in groups and have to come up with an idea to make with the makey makey.
So, I teamed up with Rae and I decided to talk to her about my idea on making with makey makey.
I explained it to her at the class. Then, Lecturer Ong said that the idea was okay.
I really tried to talk to Rae about the idea. I even initiate on doing the sketches and she replied one word — okay.
Few days later, I developed the prototype on my own. I spend 2 days without sleep to do this.
At this point, I felt overwhelmed due to the fact that I am working alone and the percentage of this assigment is 25%. I regretted not teaming up with other groups.
I really have put up the effort on talking about the assignment with her.
She did not initiate and ask me whether to do the prototype or meet up together and discuss.
Until I asked her to help me to do the presentation slides and the videos, then she did.
She look not interested in doing this assignment.
In conclusion, I really enjoyed making this proposal with makey makey although it takes me like a long days to do this alone. I should have do the makey makey in touch designer instead of scratch. After creatingthis, Ilearnt that interactive involves using content to engage the audiences and be active by participating in it.
Overall, Makey Makey really an eye-opening instrument that can really use for customer interaction.
